Over the years, deliveries and shipments have become not only more efficient, but increasingly faster, satisfying that desire "I buy it today and I would like it now" a bit inherent in all of us when we can’t wait to have something.
To make the customer's journey more lean and pleasant, Vismaravetro has rethought its warehouse and has done it in a big way, developing a logistic system that allows it to deliver shower enclosures with standard sizes and finishes in a week from the order. A fast system that optimizes processes and makes delivery lists more precise, significantly improving communication between retailer, order office and warehouse.
This synergy between human work and mechanical automation is an innovation signed by the architect Enrico Molteni, who designed the warehouse by combining the parameters of efficiency and functionality indicated by Vismaravetro with a refined aesthetic: the transparent polycarbonate solution for the external panels, which give lightness and transparency to the structure and allow a surprising night vision, earned him the mention among the finalists in the 2021 Italian Architecture Award of the Milan Triennale.
The warehouse, designed by Molteni and later built by Ferretto Group, is equipped with a stacker crane and the plant has a storage capacity of almost 3,200 loading units, in a volume of over 4,300 cubic meters.
Numbers that allow delivery times extremely reduced on the standard products.
To give a practical example: for the purchase of a 100x80 shower enclosure by 7000 collection ZQ + ZF, or a 70x120 shower enclosure by the 8000 collection CA + CA, once the order has been placed, a process is triggered that leads the operator to communicate directly with the warehouse, to identify the requested product and, thanks to a series of robots and precise electronic localization systems, to pick up the finished product and available for transport.
The same happens for 70x90, 90x90, 80x80 shower enclosures and 120x80 shower enclosures.
In addition to the standard, the Vismaravetro warehouse contains, manages, and also processes customized products made to measure and ready for shipment to the final customer.
