This year Vismaravetro is seventy years old.
The story tells that Mr. Elia Vismara began to work the glass in 1947.

Vismaravetro today is the son of an industrial evolution: in the seventies, the brand started to concentrate the production on shower enclosures.
Many things have happened and the result is a recognized brand for quality and ability to renew a productive typology that apparently leaves no space for diversification.

The credit for this success belongs to engineer Giuseppe Vismara, who represents the second generation of Vismaravetro with his wife Elisa Giussani, always alongside him in the company. Today Elia and Stefano, who continue to work in a very family-run business, flank the couple.

There is another Elia, therefore, to celebrate the seventy years today: the founder's nephew. In addition, to celebrate seventy years of history he decided to do something not intuitive for an entrepreneur: something that is not a product.

Matteo Ragni, designer of Milan, was asked to test decorations for shower cabins. A spontaneous research is born around a pattern that reminiscents of the classic decorations of Italianness and which plays with obsession for non-sense perspective. An architecture made up of seven concentric structures, such as the rings that you count to know the years of a tree.

We wanted to start to celebrate involving journalists who follow us, who know us and who have appreciated us for years.
